Clicking on the communities will reveal a new page containing the name of the community, the name of the processing plant and the types of shellfish processed for each licensed operation. This map is useful for policy-makers, OHS experts, health professionals, workers and employers. Health professionals working in these areas may have patients working in shellfish processing in their caseloads and they need to be aware of the kinds of OHS risks associated with this work.
